Paul had yesterday off and we used that and the perfect weather (80* on January 17) as excuses to drive to Temecula to go wine tasting. We haven't been to this area before and were excited to try some new places. As mentioned a million times, we're a bit obsessed with red wine and slowly my palette is catching up to Paul's. Our favorite activity to pass the time on long drives is to dream out loud about being a part of a winery someday.

Our my second favorite is to take blurry pictures of pretty scenery.

ps : photo no. 4 is of my new mini Diana camera. I plan on developing the film from this weekend today. Fingers crossed there will be a few gems and I'll share them and more info about it soon.

What fun! And I am so jealous of your weather. Today the D.C. metro region is covered in a thick sheet of ice! Anyway, I am excited to hear more about your mini Diana camera. I have never heard of it, and I am super interested to see the pictures!

How fun, my parents owned a shop in Old Town Temecula after moving from San Diego {moved to Murrietta}. Sounds like a great day together, just the two of you.

if you’re into wine, you should try bernardo winery in rancho bernardo. not as far of a drive, and such a charming, cute place! went this weekend and had a great time 🙂

Elise, I am insanely jealous. Your dress is beautiful, and how lucky are you that you can wear it in January. I’m shivering under a blanket at the moment. I love my mini diana but my last three films didn’t turn out, it’s unpredictability is heartbreaking at times.

So interested to hear about your mini camera – it’s too cute! v. jealous you’re out in a dress like that right now. Today was “warm” at 32 degrees. Sigh. Spring comes soon, right?

That camera looks amazing! What fun! Totally unrelated but have you seen the new ORANGE and GREY line of baby items at Target? Chicco Vega collection. Looks right up you alley. Run times reading along with you and your journey as a new wife and maybe a new mom in the next couple of years. Exciting stuff.

I love the temecula area! and all the cool farms and rock-formations you see along the way. hopefully I’ll get to move back to SD within a year; hating this economy and lack of opportunities right now 😦
