It was very important to me that I got my holiday book wrapped up as soon as possible before I lost steam and interest. This afternoon, I printed a bunch of photos from our weekend in Sacramento and added them plus simple handwritten text about what we did. And then I called it done.

I'm happy with the way it turned out – this was definitely the most successful I have been with this project. I'll be selling books again and completing my own for 2011 for sure.

See more pages from this month here, here, here, here and here. Questions about this book? Please ask in the comments and I'll follow up there.

Elise, this is the first year I have really kept up. I say kept up because I journaled (that isn’t a word, ha!) and took a picture about everyday. If I didn’t take a picture, I knew it would be a wrapper or drawing from my son. I’m assembling now. I am finding it easier to put it all together after more than embellish before the “event” starts.
I find that this documentation is ever evolving and you really have to do what works for you.
Great job on your book. It looks fabulous!!

I think I might do something separate for nye… depends on how many photos we take.

your book is amazing, Elise! i lost steam around day 18, but i’m determined to finish my book up by the 30th, and move on to the New Year with a clean scrap book mission. Happy New Year, girl!

Wonderful book Elise! I am always so envious of those people who are able to complete a December Daily, or something similar. Great book!
