Flowers

We are lucky enough to have a great farmer's market with three flower stands just down the street from us. (It was a huge selling point when we picked our apartment.) Since the first time we went, I have been excited about buying flowers in November for Thankgiving.

Usually, I just get a $3 premade bundle of assorted flowers. This past Saturday, I bought four different types, focusing on colors, not so much shapes. (pictured above.)

Then I spent some time mixing and matching and filling every vessel (including a water glass) that I could find.

I'm in love. I wish we could always fill our house with flowers. But if we're wishing, I'd also wish we had vistors for dinner more often.

I LOVE having flowers in our house – just feels prettier! And I think I have the same small white vases as you. 🙂

Beautiful flowers. I enjoy having flowers spread throughout, especially in fall. It brightens the house and the mood within. I use alot of water glasses, pitchers and mason jars for flowers. Simple, yet pretty.
    Happy Thanksgiving.

Lovely flowers! Buying them is such a treat, and I find that I never do it very often, mostly because they (sadly) make me sneeze. But I love this color scheme.

The variety of vases is definitely fun. I saw something on the Nate Berkus Show you might like – he took a plane vase (like your water glass) and wrapped twine around it to give it a new look. It was an inexpensive and fun way to change up the look. Nice job on your arrangements. If I lived in California, I would love to come over for dinner 😉

nothing planned yet. I am going to be working on turning the mini class material into a book early next year. I do have some plans for a few new mini kits to debut in January/Feb as well. 🙂

They look so warm and vibrant! I really love the little purple flowers (they remind me of red clover)in the water glass… they are so sweet. 🙂
    Enjoy preparing for Thanksgiving!
