I'm still adding photos and details to my fall book. October is all wrapped up. It's working well to just keep the pages in order but not bookring-ed in a box under my desk and add to it when I have time. One more month to go and I'll punch holes and call it complete.

See a few September pages here.

I have a few kits still for sale here.

& p.s. thank you for your sweet comments about my "around here" shots yesterday. I am hoping to make workspace images a semi-weekly feature.

It’s nice to see that I’m not the only one who struggles with “completing” a mini-book. I think this one looks great– thanks for sharing!
When do you “end” fall? Do you have a specific date, or is it just when you start your December Daily?

Ohhh I forget that you live in Cali. Lucky! In Ohio, it snowed today. That kind of ends fall for me ;-/

Sweet. Have you thought of offering a year-long mini (almost maxi, at that point) book? I’d love that. To capture the whole year in one full book πŸ™‚

hmmm, interesting… like something with 2011 on it? That is an idea. I am going to be releasing a new minibook/journal later this month that could be used for that but its too specific.

I’d thought of this too. My thought was this (and you can steal it since it’s essentially your original thoughts just added upon):
You had summer books. You currently have a fall book. You don’t (yet?) have winter or spring books. What about just putting them all together? A different month color for each of the seasons — summer-yellow , fall-orange, winter-blue?, spring-green?.
Just a thought. And, like I said, something I was thinking about putting together but just haven’t had the time to yet.

I love how your pile/book is turning out and the different things you’re including. Great job, as always!

I love it! You have inspired me to make my own fall book and I am using the exact same collect, arrange, THEN bind method. It makes it more fun for some reason. Now I have to get myself geared up for a December Daily!

i just finished up my October too. I was having a hard time at first, wanting to capture EVERYTHING we did, but then I decided (or rather the lightbulb went on) that I was just going to include whatever had meaning to me. there are things I wish I still had to put in, but I’m happy with how it’s going so far. yay for November!
can’t wait to get started on the holiday album too, thanks to you πŸ™‚

    hey elise,
as a person who is not really crafty but totally aspires to be, i love the idea of a year long book. like paul, i am a medical resident (as is my boyfriend) and with our crazy schedules i am now making it a point to take more pictures…would love a place to document them along the way and a 2011 book sounds fabulous…i hope you’ll consider it!
    take care!

Your Fall book looks seriously cool! One day I will have to try something like it :)I used to put stuff like that in a little box of “memorabillia” – but that can take up a bit of space. I think I like this MUCH better.
