: for a nearby farmer's market with great plants + food.

: for the workshop excitement. I'm a bundle of energy and nerves as I've been writing and sampling for this class – but that's so good. It's been awhile since my job has pushed my boundaries.

: for your book recommendations. May my nightstand floweth over.

: that Dexter Season 4 is next on our Netflix queue.

: for a good chat with Paul about "living through it" vs. "getting through it."

: for my sewing machine (& Mom for the lessons).

: for a very productive day yesterday,

: and for the promise of a another one today.

Hello Elise, regarding the workshop, when I click on the link in your e-mail, all I get is a blank page (even before I’m asked for an ID and a password). Am I the only one? Do you know any way to fix this? Have a nice day!

You have so many wonderful things to be thankful for.
I just love your homemade widgets – they all make me smile. Are you working at another shop in San Diego, or doing more of your own thing?

love the “living through it” vs “getting through it” note. i often say the same – “thrive instead of just survive”. scott + i, as you partially know, are in a rough spot right now + i didn’t want to put my life on hold as we worked through this time. i wanted us to have joy, have new experiences + love life, hardships and all.

wonderful thoughts. been doing a lot of thinking lately, since I’m not that happy about my life and where I am. I used to think that I just had to “get through” it but now I realise I can make the best of it, maybe even have fun on the way. maybe I’m just afraid of getting stuck here if I’m starting to enjoy things. tricky…

I have the same problem. I tried copying and pasting, but that didn’t work either? Would you mind resending it and seeing if it will work then?

Your husband sounds like such a wise and wonderful man! I like the notion of ‘living through’ as opposed to ‘getting through’… I think you’re going to have a long and happy marriage. Sounds like you’re having such a fab time in your new life. Wishing you everything you wish for yourselves…
