perfect flats.

Flatlove
I am always on the lookout for perfect flats. They have to be simple. They have to be cute. But most importantly, they have to have a decent cushion between my soles and the pavement.

Last winter, I bought Bloch ballet flats in silver and they fit all of my criteria perfectly. Except they were a little more than I usually like to spend.

So I was thrilled this morning when I found city flats at Gap. Simple, cute and cushioned. And for only $39. Perfect. I bought them in red and want them in black.

    i’m good with all flats except the ones that are stretchy. as in, you have to pull back the heel to put them on. those dig into my heel too much after a few hours. let me know how these work out for you! def. cute!

    i saw these online and love the purple pair. probably will end up grabbing the black pair as well.
    do you wear a half size by any chance? did you size up? the reviews seemed mixed on the fit. my feet are big, 10, but as there are no 10.5’s, i am wondering once the leather stretches a bit if the 11’s will be too big.
    sorry, i am slightly neurotic when it comes to flat shoes.

    I dont know yet about the stretching … I am usually a 7.5 – 8 and went with 7.5s because leather flats usually stretch. But the 7.5s are tight. I would go with the 11s if you are usually a 10.5. am considering exchanging for 8s if these dont loosen up this afternoon. Hope that helps a bit. They are so awesome looking in real life!

    elise i just bought these a few days ago in that cool blue-ish color and i LOVE them too… so cute! and how amazing is the little bag they come with? and i loved the silvery ones too.

    have you tried toms? i’m pretty sure you’ve blogged about them before.. but they have the greatest between-soles-and-pavement cushion. anyway, are these better/different in the way of comfort??

    I have two pairs of toms and I wear them all the time. They are probably my favorite. But sometimes you need something a bit dressier and simpler and that is when these city flats are perfect.

    I have 3 pairs of these and they really are the best ever!!! They are as comfy as wearing a pear of Toms and the elastic doesn’t dig in at all.
