enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

Picture 2

I'm working (and will be working for the next week or so) on our wedding album. Keeping it simple. Using what I wrote about the wedding on this blog for the book's text. Following a similar format to our engagement album. And of course using our photos from the amazing Lisa Welge.

I have decided to print at home and stick it all into another Russell + Hazel binder.

I'll share as soon as it's printed!

Oh, I LOVE those binders. So far, I haven’t found any option to have them shipped to Germany … and no store here would carry them as we have a totally different binder system! I’d really like one of the big ones for my ever-growing recipe collection. And a small one for such a cool album, too. Ah, the possibilities … I followed your link to your engagement album and discovered a cool link to prepping a book with a binder mechanism in the comments. Might try that one instead some time soon.
… so glad I discovered this blog of yours through lovelife! 🙂

i really loved the simplicity of your engagement album, so i can’t wait to see this finished project. by the way, we have a yogurt shop here in ashland, oregon called the “yogurt hut.” one of my favorite places to take my girls for a delicious yummy treat. there yogurt is the best i think.

Hi Elise! I’m in the market to buy a photo printer, and I read in your FAQ section that you use a HP Photosmart photo printer. I was wondering if I could ask what model you have, and how well the quality of your printed pictures are? I have a HP Photosmart printer/fax/copier, but the photos never look quite right.
    Thanks for you help!

Elise, I have a Hp Photosmart 7500 at home, and recently bought some Kodak brilliant 4×6 photo paper to print on, but unfortunately the photos are grainy (even with high resolution images from a DSLR). Can I ask what type of photo paper you use? 🙂

Office Depot brand semi-gloss professional photo paper. I use 8.5×11 sheets of 72# weight.
My photos for the wedding/engagement albums are 300dpi.
