    I love the poppies print!
I have never done a mini book before so I would like to try it one day. Those you had in the store were AMAZING!
You are such a talented artist, Elise!
    Have a wonderful weekend.

Since I have a little more time during the summer for craft-y projects, I like it when you show HOW to do something – even it’s just something “simple” – simple is where I’m at!
Hope you don’t mind, but I’ll be praying for you two as you begin the hard work of living and adjusting to his new job.

My Two Cents on Your “Right Now” Post.
I know that feeling so well! I’m in the same boat (engaged to an ER doc, dealing with the schedule/life)
1.) Hang in there. You will cherish the time you have together and will never take it for granted.
2.) You having a flexible work schedule will make things that much easier
3.) A quiet hobby is a must (while he sleeps between shifts)- I think you’ve got that covered! Mine is similar (www.hellocupcakellc.etsy.com and http://hellocupcakecreations.blogspot.com) and it first started because I decided I needed a quiet project while he studied!
4.) Get a pet. I have a dog and it really helps
5.) Family and friend support is HUGE. Go Elise!
The downer…..10 hrs between is not really 10 hrs (it’s the scheduled shift time but they end up staying late finishing paperwork). Yuck, yuck!
    Best,
    Stacy

Love the poppy print – it’s gorgeous. Would love to see more mini book kits in the shop – maybe seasonal ones without months listed for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere. Also a numbered minibook like your 25 things one – with different numbers – that’d be cool!

i’ve been following your blog and found inspiration for my parents upcoming 50th wedding celebration…it might sound funny…but your wedding planning has given me so many ideas (grey + orange = love to the power of love). my father’s favorite color is orange 🙂 (and…he LOVES poppies!!) my parents are such beautiful souls and i am enjoying the process of planning for them. thank you for all the decor ideas you’ve provided your readers…your sharing has blessed many…
but…back to your question 🙂 i love, love your letterpress items…and now that i’ve seen the gocco print…well, would definitely like to see more 🙂 oh…and one last thing…your mini-books are beyond fantastic…so adaptable for each person’s story.

I would like to see what you are doing with your “Summer 2010” mini.
I also like your mini books, how about one where the cover says “I Told My Story To The Stars” and on the back “They Listened”. You had a larger journal in your shop awhile back with that theme and I just loved those words.
More samples, in general, of how you make/create your mini books.

I love everything that you’ve come up with so far.. but I love following your daily fashion on Flickr. I think it would be so cool if you did a post once in a while on your daily outfit, where you got it, and the such. But just a thought. I love your style. Love that poppy print. Fingers crossed.

I found your blog a few months ago when you were in the midst of planning your wedding. My son and future daughter in law are getting married in a couple of weeks and her colors are orange and yellow so we’ve “stalked” your blog frequently for ideas! She would love that poppy picture! Your taste and hers are definitely the same!

Love that you have made up the proverb into a print. It’s beautiful! I only came across your blog (from Kelly Purkey’s) less two months ago, and I fell in love with your NYC mini-book. I am going to try it for an upcoming trip. I love, love, love your mini-books. We have started organizing our house too so I have been enjoying your home posts too.
Thanks for the giveaway and have a great weekend!
