I've heard rumors that as you get closer to your wedding there is a drastic spike in impulse purchases. I am prepared to confirm there is much truth to this.

i can also attest to the truth in this statistic. when wedding presents started trickling in one by one, my doorman had started calling me “mrs. joyce” but now he calls me “mrs. packages” because of all my recent panic purchasing

You’re not alone! I bought her “Hand in Hand” bracelet for my wedding! I would have purchased her “Red Letter Day” bracelet, but it was long gone by the time I decided I had to have it.
