I spent last weekend in the midwest at a shower in Iowa thrown by my Mom's family and then in St. Paul at a shower thrown by my Dad's side. It was great because I was able to see extended family that will not be making it out to California for the wedding.

As always, I failed and didn't get many photos of people, just of things. My Aunt Carol and Aunt Sue both creatively played to my color scheme and I fell a little more in love with the color orange. I was overwhelmed by all the attention to detail and how generous people get around weddings. I'm so blessed.

Thank you, Carol for such a special shower lunch. Thank you, Sue for throwing a wonderful shower brunch. They were perfect.

After all this time of reading your blog, today was the first day that I looked at all the pictures and thought “wow, orange is just really HER!” It fits you just right I think. 🙂
Many best wishes (and super high fives) for your and Paul’s future!
