Rings Pinkshirt

So, I spent the morning and early afternoon looking for coincidences, but all I found was a whole lot of irony. I am on the hunt for three outfits for three bridal showers this spring. And nothing. Nada. All I found was a hot pink shirt (from j.crew, but not on the website yet) that is not quite right for anything. Isn't it ironic that when you don't need to buy anything you want everything and when you actually need to buy something you can't find anything you want? Man, it's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

To celebrate my failure, I am going to post a video tutorial about gocco. Look for it by tonight.

And I promise I already have my permanent post ready to roll for the morning.

And yep! The rings look great. I won't be wearing it again until April 24th, but I'm happy to report, it fits!

    Maybe you did find coincidence. Doesn’t it always happen that you find nothing when you need something? You needed it, so coincidentally you found nothing.
    BTW-Did you check out Restoration Hardware (for the brown stitched duvet) and absolutely fall in love like we did? It’s expensive, but now 4 years later we don’t regret any of our choices.

    Oh my gosh, Elise…the same thing happened to me yesterday. I spent yesterday looking for a cute outfit for my engagement pictures, and, of course- I found nothing. So frustrating.

    That happens to me all the time, drives me nuts. You need to go without any money and no hopes of finding anything and you will find everything you need 🙂

    Its some sort of strange Murphy’s law. I often search for days to find something for a certain occasion but then when I am just window shopping I find tons of things and have to put most of them back on the rack.

    Look at Anthropology! My friend found all her wedding shower/rehearsal dinner dresses/outfits there! They always carry such feminine, romantic and whimsical things that are perfect for those events!
