50 Fall

Past and present :

homecoming, fireplaces, high school football games, dark nail polish, resurgence of knitting hobby, carving pumpkins, potato soup, extra blankets, cozy nights, lattes, sharpened pencils, sweaters, new shoes, books, colored leaves, pumpkin seeds, pajama pants, black and white photos, Halloween, apple cider, cinnamon, car heaters, orange, brown, red, flushed cheeks, Thanksgiving, chili, leather gloves, clean notebooks, frost, scarfs, earmuffs, holiday decorations in stores, puzzles, new tv seasons, sorting candy, sewing costumes, caramel apples, hot chocolate, sweet potatoes, leftover turkey, USC football, long sleeves, pine cones, Christmas lists, lit candles, cardigans, pie & fallen leaves.

This week, we're experiencing the fall chill, but there are still oodles of green leaves on the trees. I think we'll hit real fall just in time for Paul to come home at the end of the month. And then it will be weeks of chili for dinner, a fully stocked DVR & a good amount of red wine.

Some favorite links from around the web :

  • this 2010 calendar. Last year, I went calendar crazy and it was quite a waste. This year, I am buying ONE. And it's this one. It's already here and I am crazy happy about it – my favorite months are Feb, July + November.
  • font focused letterpress cards. Too perfect for words.
  • I have never been a big boot person. But for some reason, I can't get these out of my mind.
  • LA printable cards. So perfect for my LA penpal.
  • my orange wedding shoes. It took three tries but these are not returnable and fabulous so they will walk their way down the aisle.

Those wedding shoes are gorgeous! AND, totally wearable again. 😉
Oh, and I also think I screamed a little when I saw the font cards. Kind of awkward, since I’m in the library. But seriously, I don’t think I’ve seen anything more fontastic. My only problem with them is a.) no one I know would appreciate them as much as I would, which leads me to b.) I’m pretty sure I’d hoard them all to myself.

Those boots are cute – the bordeaux color is awesome. Also, your wedding shoes are cuteness.

Oh I went calendar crazy this year too and have none of them on display because I also bought a fabulous wall planner. Must not be seduced this year!
