Last night, Lisa posted a teaser photo from our engagement session and I am quite sure if we had a cat it would have ran under the bed at my excited shout. I said this yesterday, but I am just thrilled to have a photo where you can't see our arms holding up the camera. To have a photo with a fantastic depth of field…OMG IT'S LIKE MAGIC. And don't get me started on the orange bridge. WE DIDN'T EVEN PLAN THAT.

I can SO sympathize with your feelings about having a photo that doesn’t include your arm or your shoulder as you hold the camera at arm’s length…
All but 3 of our “together” photos from our recent vacation are like that – there were a couple of really nice people who offered to take pictures of us together…

This is so cute. I always thought engagement photos were going to be totally cheesey. However, my mind has been completely changed. If I get engaged photos like this one would be such a great memory to have! Congratulations on everything! Your guest book idea is great too. Your wedding is going to be fabulous!

Oh my gosh!!!! You guys are toooo cute! And I’m sooo excited for you. Heck, I’m excited for myself to get to see these pics. Have you considered upgrading your camera? I think you do excellent shots with the camera you have, but man oh man, if you had a nice dslr and a wide aperture lens… your blog would be even more THE shit.
