hi sunshine.

It is no secret that I am missing California. Really bad. Hurts my stomach sort of bad. We have had a long end-of-winter here with a lot of rain and a lot of gray skies. When ever it seems to get warm, there's a relapse of chilly. I have been spending too much time lately wishing loudly for a warmer climate.

I know, I know. Complain, complain. No one (especially those of you in COLDER climates) wants to hear that. But it's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    I’ll keep my finger crossed for some warmer/sunnier weather on your side of the world !
    Here (Kyoto, Japan) I’m beginning to wish for quite the opposite : that the “warmer” weather(hot, humid, want-to-stick-your-head-in-the-freezer kinda summer)takes as much time as possible to arrive and settle.
    Is it me or missing home often comes with the weather ?

    I could use some sunshine, but like Flo I am happy for the hot, humid summer to take as much time as possible to arrive. I hate the summers here (Northern VA), I hate feeling sticky all the time! We may upgrade the A/C unit in our house because it couldn’t keep up last year and I was miserable every single sweaty night. Blech! (But then I’m from Oregon so rain doesn’t make me as crazy as it does some people. Obviously humidity makes me crazy!)

    i’m with you about the warmer climates, elise, even though i’ve never lived in one.
    up here in toronto, we get a precious few months of absolutely kick-ass weather and then POOF – we’re back to the same old wind and wet and then eventually the standard four to five months of snow and subzero temperatures. eesh.
    bring on the sticky hot!

    i only lived in california until i was 8… but i still miss it all the time. even though i’m in REALLY warm weather now (az), california was just perfect.

    I’m so with you on the sunshine thing … we’ve just had the warmest day so far this year here in the UK and it’s been glorious and on so welcome.
    I don’t even want it hot, just sunny and warm would be nice!
