Paul's on call so it's just me, a tangle of embroidery floss and the NCAA tournament. Table number 7: Done. Not perfect, but done. And Fight On, Trojans!

I print out the design the size I want it to be and then I trace it onto wax paper. I can put the wax paper over the cloth and see exactly the way that I want it to be. With cross stitch it works best to do the outline and then remove the wax paper and fill it in. With embroidery I just leave it on the entire time. Just an idea for all of the other tables.LikeLike

Super cute! I love reading your blog for the paper craftiness. I’m planning my wedding right now, so I can’t wait to read about all your wedding projects too.

Wow! You’re finished with one already? Well, there are quite a few more games to watch if you’re into watching the whole tournament… 😉 You could be finished with oh, 15 tables worth in the next couple weeks!

All this wedding craftiness is making me want to get married lol By the way… I’m going to be headed back up to DC to see my boyfriend at Walter Reed in about a month again… And I told him that the only condition is that he has to take me to Paper Source and buy me stuff. So maybe I’ll see ya around! lol

I love this idea elise! I did the cross stitch for our ring bearer pillow. our son was the ring bearer and I wanted to have a keepsake that was personalized. I used the left over fabric from my train (I cut it off!) and then added some purple (my wedding color) and did the cross stitch piece to attach to the front. I love seeing all the things you are doing to add your special touch to the wedding. ciao!
