back when we were in college, I painted a hand me down (read: UGLY as sin) coffee table with chalkboard paint. We played a lot of hangman on that table and it was always fun to read the notes our drunk roommate would leave us in the middle of the night! 😉

Ha! I’m so addicted to chalkboard paint. So far we have a small wall in our living room and I have a wall in a fort in one of my boy’s rooms. It’s addictive & sooo fun!!!! 😀

I painted the back of our door with chalkboard paint — it’s the door that goes out to our garage, and is the last thing you see before you leave the house. My hubby hated the idea, initially . . . but now LOVES it. We write message to each other. Reminders. Phone numbers. Menus. It rocks.

Never did the chalkboard paint, but the wall over my sink in my very first no-roomate apartment I had painted in magnetic paint, and had magnetic poetry up there. So fun!

    It’s awesome.
We have it all over the house. And in each baby room. And in our bedroom on the headboard wall. And in the sunroom. It rocks. BUT – it doesn’t make awesome chalkboards for everyday use. But, it’s still fun.

We have a column in our main living room painted with chalkboard paint. It is great! Although, it is the only thing we didn’t repaint from the previous owners.

We have it in out kitchen, on 2 door with 2 panels on them. It’s fun because we are contantly “redecorating”. I keep 1 panel drawn in a huge family calendar. And real chalk is WAY too dusty for a kitchen or bedroom. Gotta have chalk markers. A bit pricey, but worth it. Got mine from Paper Source, but lots of color available at chalkinkworldstore.com.

We have used Chalkboard paint with much success here – in various rooms. I love it. And we also love those Chalkboard wallies from Paper Source 🙂

Oh, great. Now I want chalkboard paint everywhere. I do have a nicely framed chalkboard near my back door, and I’ll just have to make better use of it.
I’m new to your blog (I came from Jodified http://jodified.typepad.com/a_mom_and_her_camera/), but have subscribed and will be back often!
