One scarf comin' atcha. I started this beast last November. And finished it last Thursday. I have never personally finished a scarf before, I always passed them over to Mom for the tie off. And actually, I have never worn a scarf that I made. Ususally they are quite filled with holes.

The green + gray scarf is my Christmas gift to myself but I have plans to make one for a special someone. (And no it is not Paul. He "doesn't like things around his neck.") I better hop to or it is going to become a Thanksgiving 2009 gift.

beautiful!! I started knitting about 4 years ago specifically to make scarves for teacher gifts – and pretty much anyone else who has a neck. Your green/gray scarf looks very cozy – not sure if you ever post specifics?? If not, no worries. If so, just wondering what size needles – and what type of yarn used? Blessings, Vicki

I love your scarf. I just decided this weekend that I wanted to make my mom one this Christmas. Would you share details? I’d love to know what type of yarn/needles/stitches you used if you are willing to share. Thanks so much!

great job! I’ve made two and half scarves so far. Now that I live somewhere that I actually need them… I’m planning on a really nice one for myself soon! And how does Paul keep warm without a scarf? Yikes.
