enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

So I went upstairs in search of my star book. Because I know I have it. And I had BIG plans for it.

After searching on top of my desk and under my desk, I pulled out my craft junk drawer because OBVIOUSLY the star book would be in craft junk drawer. Because the craft junk drawer is for all the stuff that I like but I do not know what to do with.

It was not in the craft junk drawer.

So I channeled my inner game show host and decided to make a book out of ONLY things that could be found in the junk drawer. There were no regular scissors in the junk drawer. But there were scalloped edge scissors. There were no gluesticks in the junk drawer. But there was a stapler.

Did I mention the craft junk drawer is also where I put things that do not fit on top of my desk?

Did I also mention that now the entire floor of the upstairs has become my craft junk drawer?

Did I also mention it is quite likely that Paul will kick me out of the apartment soon?

All good things to note.

But here are some pages of the book. In all it scalloped edge and stapled glory.

So very awesome! I just finished A Tree Grows in Brooklyn last night and I thought it was absolutely amazing. Such a great read. I also loved your page on ScrapJacked, I saw it when I was right in the middle of the book. You are an inspiration.

My desk is similarly buried. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I just found a weekend project.
