enJOY it

FallcollectedI have been saving "things" since the middle of October. Stuff that I get for free that looks cool. I have been chopping it down to 4×6 and stacking it up. Today I decided to make a commitment and punch away. I added some of my favorite "visual" photos from the season as well.

This was a good project for me. I save so much junk. And I never know why. I just know that there is absolutely no way I can let a free piece of something cool go to waste. So I take it home, and pile it on my desk. Now, instead, I can have piles of these little books laying around. Much better. I have already started collecting for the Christmas edition.

Also expanding my favorite wall which is nearly impossible to photograph:

I have so many more things waiting to go up there. But I need more frames. And the frame store was out today.  Hopefully Saturday.

Paper is good. So are cupcakes.

this is such a cool idea, I kinda do the same thing with my inspiratin journal, but I think your idea of making a simple album with pages that are visually inspiring, is so cool. I am such a typography junkie, so I save catalog stuff and mail flyers too, this sounds like the perfect fit, thanks for the idea!

Thanks so much for this post. I sat down tonite and cut up into 4×6 pieces a bunch of “junk” I’d been keeping around. Man does it feel good to just have a nice, sweet looking pile of paper instead of cluttered piles of stuff I’d probably never use. I love this idea and know I will use it for years to come.
