LgdaI saw this amazing photo on Black Eiffel a few days ago. It is my new desktop.

Today is a big day.

It is Dad’s 54th birthday

AND

It is my 700th blog post

AND

It is my first day off of work in a week.

Tackling laundry. Getting photos ready to print. Packing up goods for mailing. Crossing things off on my to-do list. Buying lovely letterpress.

And also, making Christmas Ornaments. A couple weeks ago, I took the Handmade Pledge and came up with a few ideas for how I am going to decorate the largest tree that Paul will let me buy. (We are in a 5 feet versus 7 feet debate – It does not feel like Christmas if you are taller than your tree.)

Anyways. The first of hopefully many:
Ohcornament1

Super easy to make. I will hopefully get some directions posted for these dudes over the weekend if you are interested. I think it looks a little old school yet classy. If that is possible…

Time for lunch. And then cleaning up. And then Target. And then making an even bigger mess.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy 700th post Blogland! Thanks for reading.

Discovered your blog through the Oasis–love it. Happy 700th post!
Out of curiosity, what is the difference between letterpress and stamping. Different ink? Not rubber? I’ve googled letterpress and can’t quite discern the difference. The letterpress stuff is quite lovely!
