I finally got something up on the intimidating white wall in our living room/tv area. Finally. And for a deal too.
- Four canvases = $3.99 each at Michaels.
- Two sheets of the most beautiful flocked paper (Paper Source SKU number 14819950) = $3.75 each.
- Brown paint = $.50.
- Sheet of Hambly Dandelion rub ons = $5.00.
- Getting it all up there = Priceless.
I also got a lot of other home decor stuff today. Blue & brown was the accidental color scheme.

Serious deals. The plates were $2.50 in the Target dollar spot and the placemats I got at Z Gallerie for $1.09 on clearance. I found the lampshade at West Elm for $20 and now I need a stand to go with it. The quilt was the biggest score: $39 at Urban…down from $180.
Our house is beginning to look a little bit like the Elise Blaha Craft Museum / The Good Deal Palace.
Paul is excited.
