I do not make 12×12 layouts.
They intimidate me.
That said, I am a big fan of the 12×12 cardboard that comes with internet orders. So I save it. Until the moment is right.
Last night, I was reading up on blogs and checking gmail while Paul studied. And I started to feel an Overwhelming Sense of Good. And I started to just repeat the phrase over and over in my head and then all of the sudden, I made the above. With the random stuff on top of my desk. The leftovers. The goodies.
It reminds me of this guy that I posted about back in July.
Same idea. 12×12 cardboard. Random stuff. Phrase in the head that needs to make it to the magic gluestick.
I am going to save up my cardboard. And make more when the ideas strike. And then when I have a pile a foot high, i am going to use book rings the size of dinner plates and bind the beast. It shall be my cardboard child. We’ll call him "McLovin’."
