Ikea is a good place.
A good land.
I do think that they could hang a huge banner over their store that says "We sell a feeling of accomplishment in addition to furniture." Because after it is built you really receive two things for the price of one.
If you have a little child, it probably looks familiar because, oh yes, it is a Baby Changing Table. But it was marked down from $159 to $39 and so I thought to myself, "Hello, Fabulous Clothing Holder for a 22 Year Old." There is even a spot for diapers clutches.
I enjoy it.
And then there is my new scrapbook table which is still in the box.
Ikea actually sells it as an "Occasional Table". Which is just weird. On some occasions is it a chair? Or a lamp? (If it turns into a lamp, we are in luck – as the as the blurry photos prove, we need lighting still.)
Ikea should add a scrapbook furniture section to their store. Or maybe a spice rack section. So then I could just see them all in one place instead of driving all over the state of Maryland to find a good one and somehow ending up back at the apartment with two.
