and then peace was destroyed.

I left Starbucks and went to the gym and got home to find my bag was stolen from my car.

I am crushed.

My little MacBaby was in the bag. With everything personal and important to me on it. With all my photos and layouts and thoughts and stored passwords and software and websites and letters and resumes and everything.

I really hope that whoever took it is the type that just likes to wipe the memory clean and sell it on ebay. Not the type who wants to poke around and learn about me. Because then I would feel even more violated than I already do.

I canceled my credit cards and changed as many passwords as I can think of.

I called the police and reported it.

Now I just want to rebuild.

If I know you and you have photos, yours or ones I once gave you, please send them to me.

Let me know if I am forgetting to do things.

I can think of a few pretty good curse words right now, so I should stop typing.

    that sucks! sorry you are having a rotten day. hopefully someone will do the right thing and turn it in…keep your chin up!

    Elise, I am so so so sorry to hear this. That is the worse news I have heard all day. There are some horrible mean people out there. Keep your head up. Let me know if you need anything.

    That’s awful, but you should go to Starbucks or your gym and talk to them about having them check their surveillance tapes. That could come in really handy for the Police, but do it ASAP. You never know how long they keep those for. Good luck! Keep your chin up…

    ugh I had this whole thing typed out… but alas…. my MacBaby went nuts. So sorry to hear what happened! 😦 No good at all!! So sorry your beloved MacBaby is gone… and even more so that your security is shattered. I had my convertible top cut through back when I had the Mustang… and as upset as I was about having to get an entire new car top… I was more upset that someone took a knife to my car… scary. So sorry someone shook your comfort… and then caused even more problems 😦

    That is so horrible! I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope this person hasn’t gotten any info about you but just took it to sell it…or I hope a miracle happens and you can somehow get it back. Hang in there. 😉

    That would be one of my worst nightmare coming true… My previous laptop broke one day, and it was terrible. Maybe the police will find the thief, who knows ?

    having stuff stolen, especially out of your car, is the worst feeling! I had my car broken into on my way home from college one summer…everything gone! sucks and feels awful!
