Tomorrow is The Day.

The Day Harry Potter Book Seven is available for purchase. The Day Harry must defeat Lord Voldemort once and for all, and we, as Muggles, can go on with our lives feeling satisfied and safe from harm. The Day I will one day tell my first born about, as I prepare to read her/him the last installment of her/his favorite series. My baby will be three months old and I will say, "Little one, The Day I first read this book was the third best day of my life. Falling only after the day I had you, and the day I married your daddy. You must savor and cherish this moment."

And my little child will gaze up at me with the look (s)he so frequently gives, which plainly says "Mom, you are totally crazy." And I will smile knowingly and begin to read.

Hang on to your bookmarks, friends, tomorrow is The Day.

    Thinking I was immune, I pre-ordered only one copy. For my brother. Right now I’m seriously considering the 12:01 purchase so I can start reading tomorrow first thing. My plan is to see a late movie and then appear at the Barnes & Noble next door as if by coincidence. : )
