When we were in Europe, especially in Paris, we talked and talked about Sex and the City. And how it is the best show in the entire world. (Although, if we could only watch one TV show on repeat for the rest of our lives, we unanimously agreed that Friends is the better choice because it has more episodes and greater "I’ll never get sick of you" power.)
Anyways. Since I got back, I have been re-watching the seasons I own. And falling in love with the show all over again. Because, you see, I want to BE Carrie Bradshaw. Minus the man problems and circa the year 2007, so I can rock the MacBook.
She is just. Fabulous. Like in Season 6, Part B (Disc 2, Episode 3) when she goes to Paris and walks into Dior and she slips on the rain water and goes flying across the floor. At that moment, I just feel a real connection to her. That could just as easily have been me. Minus the Dior part, plus a scrapbook store.
Speaking of scrapbooking, made this pink event for this weeks Dare: Scrap Love @ First Sight. I asked Paul what he thought about love at first sight. Only I laughed when I asked because for him and I, it was Love at 7000th sight. Or Love within 11 years of meeting.
Which, by the way, is the best way it could have happened.
