enJOY it

Oh, my friend, the 901 club.

J and I opened you up tonight.  As in we were the first to enter.  As in we had to wait for the bartenders to assume their positions behind the bar.

It is okay.  I heard empty bars are the new fantastic.

But seriously.

We will miss you dear 9-0.  You and your plastic cups and dirty floors.  You and your front pole, back pole.  You and your 2nd booth, red curtains.  You and your two for one drink specials.

Because 9-0?  You taught me to appreciate the sophisticated taste that is Jack Daniels and Diet Coke.  I will never be good at wine tasting, but I will always judge a bartender who does not make it strong.

So I thank you for that, 901 club.

I also thank you for providing me and Jenny the space for a little catch-up.  A little bonding.  A little "Dude, we are graduating so soon, I think I might cry my eyes out" time.

Because 9-0?  It was just what I needed.

I love you.
