enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

I know because a while ago I passed it.  And after that, I passed a wider line.  And then I saw a sign that read, "This is the point of no return."  And I kept going.  And now I live in "ToDoListLand".  Which, like Disneyland, has a lot of lines.  Except they are made out of highlighter, not people.

Seriously.

I just created a ToDoList which starts at 5pm today (eat dinner)  and ends at 5pm on Monday (eat dinner).  This is the mother of all lists.  Or the grandmother.  Anything on this list supersedes what I already have written in my planner.  Or scheduled on my online Google Calendar.  Or written on the binder paper that hangs by my bed every day.

I am the kind of person who finishes something, but writes it on the list anyway.  So I can cross it out.  Because if I did it BEFORE I made the list, I should still get credit, right?  I mean until there is a yellow line through it, did it really even happen?  Tough call.  Better to be safe than sorry, I always say.

Anyone else?  Want to join me in "ToDoListLand"?  No pressure.  But I heard we are the 4th city on the wait list to get a Sprinkles.  So we have got that going for us.

Makes me wonder, if a todolist fell in the woods, would it still be highlighted?

Yes, I too am stuck in the vortex of to-do list land. It’s all good! ROFL. I also write down completed items so I can cross them off. It’s related to hand eye mind coordination, I think.

I totally write things on my To Do lists after I’ve done them so that I can cross it off. Sign of genius if you ask me 🙂

This made me laugh! I am totally in this boat!
So, I am trying to organize my future mother in laws recipes (she has a drawer that has scraps of paper that date back to the 80’s) its amazing but a mess. So I typed in organization on your search bar to see if you had any posts and I found this one that I loved!
