The cards are up on the card blog. I have high hopes to get the cruise ones into some sort of classy frame/wall hanging while I am home this weekend. Operation: Elise Blaha National Craft Museum starts now.
Annnnd, about the Listerine bottles: We wanted more than anything to cruise it. We also wanted more than anything to drink for cheap. So we bought 32 oz opaque Target brand mouthwash bottles and decanted some alcohol into into them. And by some I mean, Jack, SoCo, Peach and Mandarine and regular Absolut, Ketel 1, Jager and more. We were concerned about running out. Clearly.
In addition to the big plan to sneak stuff on, we also followed the rules. The cruise lets each person bring one bottle of wine. So at Target we bought extra large bottles for $6.99. They were seriously huge:
Hard to say who won that battle though because we paid a $15 corkage fee twice in an effort to consume our discounted wine.
Also hard to say if Operation Booze Cruise was worth the bottles. I do not think Princess was too concerned with our dental hygiene. Especially considering that they did not bat an eyelash when the x-ray machine showed that Alexis had an 18 pack of Miller Lite in her suitcase.
But seriously?
The plotting and the planning, the pouring and the purchasing? That was half the experience.
The other half was the purchased buckets of Dos Equis.
*And just to make this more of a Target commerical, guess where my fantastic gold shoes are from?
