Not because I know for sure that I am superior to bad luck, but because I am positive that if one drop of rain touches my hair I will turn into a Chia Pet.
I also walk under ladders, chase black cats, flash my headlights when people are driving without them and will go to just about any length to pick up a penny – even when it is tails up.
So, I guess I do not believe in superstitions. I think this is because even if I avoided ladders, cats and white shoes after labor day, I would still trip in front of people, drop my coffee and spill jelly on my t-shirt. It is inevitable.
