enJOY it

Finally made it to the "Employees Only" section of Target.  Started the internship.  Sat in a room with 16 other college students.  Listened to people talk about their experience with the company.  Watched videos about how to interact with customers.  Learned that Target considers me so much more than just an intern.  Heard that Target has a goal to have 3000 stores nationwide by 2020.

Felt potential.

And it is good.

Very glad to know that I am going to be challenged by this internship.  Glad to know that if it goes well I am going to have countless opportunities across the nation.  Glad to know that behind the commercials that inspire me, there is a company that can drive me.

I know that is a lot to gather from a first day.  I know that there are going to be times when I hate it.  I know that I am going to get frustrated.  But I also know that something just feels right.

Today is good.
