love that you liked them! and this is actually the only picture that i got to see of them, cuz had to have my mom pick them out (with special instructions 🙂 And I held true to my promise: a table of 10 of us made a racket toasting to you last night! “Here’s to being 21, here’s to this girl that sounds damn cool, here’s to having such special people in your life! Happy Birthday elise!!!…. here’s to wine..” and then it went off from there 😉 Anyway hopefully your sleeping right now “a-madness” (as is AHOG?) and feeling like a new girl when you wake up in the morning! That picture of you two at traddies? Oh get ready for it when I come home… paris has taught me quite a bit about bars! And to not be surprised by strange things — a parade of segways (those stand up scooters) is rolling past my window right now. I’m off to the Musee d’Orsay today, class at the Sorbonne tonight, hopefully meeting up with Lindsey Sherman whose in town, and then taking the train to the south of france at dawn tomorrow morning! So things are going well. LOVE you and i’ll talk to ya sooooon.
