According to Hot Relationships by Tracey Cox, studies show that the two happiest groups of people are married men and single women.  I have conducted some research of my own: I am Single.  I am Happy.  And I have two single wingwomen/roommates that are pretty happy with their relationship status.  And my dad is happy and he is married so BAM…solid study.

Meg, J and I are Single…but we do have "men in our lives" (quotations necessary because A. they are not really in our lives and B. they are not really men yet.)  We enjoy talking about them.  And on this holiday, I think they should be acknowledged for the endless entertainment, excitement and laughter they bring to us.  So thanks to: HZ, Grad Student, Clinger, SI, Shady, Spanish Guy, TKE Boy, The 25 Year Old, Brokeback, The Guy in the Bed, and the rest that we actually refer to by their real names.  Without them, our lives would be much less awkward and WAY less fun.

Bottom Line: Happy? yes.  Valentine? no.  LOVE!
