enJOY it

On Friday, I finished The Purpose Driven Life.  40 days of reading.  40 days of learning about my purpose.  40 days of becoming a pretty humbled Christian.

I wish I could put into words what the book was about.  It was difficult.  It is hard realizing that how you live your life is not how you were intended to live.  That there is a plan for you.  That in reality it is a simple plan: Love God.  Put Him first.  And then you stop and you try and you realize what a challenge this presents every single day.

But I grew.  I rediscovered the power of scripture.  I thought about my significance in the world.  I confirmed my faith.  I realized that God’s plan for me is much better than anything that I could have ever thought of.  I just have to learn to live it.  I will probably spend the rest of my time here working on it.  Failing daily…but always trying.
