I'll be honest, I don't even know what number M&G30 project I'm on right now. My "hmmm, 2015 might be a slow year" turned into a "just kidding it's 100x a crazy year" when I found out there would be a baby coming in November and a business to keep rolling at the same time. It's all good though. Worst case scenario I'll be making and giving something everyday of next February to hit my birthday deadline.
But this necklace!
I was dreaming about a painted wood bead necklace since I came up with Ellerie's rainbow birthday party. But as of two weeks ago, I hadn't yet made it to the craft store for beads and chord, so I was pretty thrilled to stumble on this necklace kit. I'm not usually a "craft kit person" but after this experience, I might become one. It was just too easy.
There were also TWO sets of necklaces in the kit! One for me and one for me to make for you! So two rainbow necklaces were made. The original is most likely on Ellerie's neck right now and the other I'll ship anywhere in the world.

OH! PICK ME PICK ME! My daughters second birthday party is this month – we are going with a sesame street party (which is a rainbow of colours as we all know and I’m reusing some decorations I made for her first birthday which was a rainbow theme!). My older daughter and I would be thrilled to ‘take turns’ wearing this on ‘baby’ sisters special day!
