WEEKENDQUOTEvincent

I love the Internet and since I was away for awhile here is a (slightly) longer list of links to cool stuff…

stunning food photography.

we LOVE Palm Springs and I LOVED (and nodded right along to) Elsie's travel guide.

this is really cool, Adobe.

beautiful (handmade!) sandals.

when love is a relay.

packing for long trips with just a carry-on.

I hope In-N-Out adopts this business model soon.

I found these stories so interesting. I for sure fell into the "ignorance is bliss" category.

higher pay does not equal more happiness.

excuse me while I dream about gardens.

new quilt inspiration.

I could look inside other peoples' notebooks all day.

if Wild didn't make you want to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, this will.

these simple tees always draw compliments and they're on sale. size up for slouchy, perfect fit.

the crossroads of "should" and "must".

and from me… GET TO WORK BOOK™ is starting to ship next week! Now's the time to order and follow the organized madness on Instagram.

I loved the article about why you decided to have a baby.
I’m turning 31 in July and feel no desire to have kids whatsoever.
Neither does my boyfriend of almost 8 years.
Kids and especially babies just don’t do it for us.
Like the woman in the article I find that people have a hard time understanding that you don’t want kids..
They tend to look at you like you are some horrible person…
i’m hoping it will pass as I get older.

Thank you for sharing “The Crossroads between Should and Must”, very helpful for me. I keep running across things like this. I Must take these things seriously and getting working on my Must’s. Happy Weekend!

For me, being a ‘should’ worker and enjoying must in other parts of my life is gold. I like to compartmentalise – I enjoy the space and freedom that working part-time in my cubicle offer. My job isn’t anything flash, but I love it. I get to be an adult for three days a week and a Mum with creative flair the rest of the time. I know it isn’t fashionable in this day and age to have a bill-paying job and fun hobbies but, then again, I’ve never been fashionable 🙂 While I’m inspired by people who work their passions; I know that I’m a hive worker and I find there is much joy in honestly accepting that.

Hey! Because it takes me 6 times to learn something, I keep clicking on Shop to go look at GTWB. Maybe a little “looking for GTWB? click here” link would be helpful for dum dums like me. 😉
