enJOY it

Julycurrently

coming off an incredible high.

feeling an overwhelming sense of relief.

looking forward to sharing so much more about WDS.

starting Drop Dead Healthy by AJ Jacobs.

laughing outloud on the plane ride home.

squeezing Ellerie to pieces.

believing wholeheartedly that "the juggle" is possible.

thinking if you want to set records on your fitbit, it's a good idea to go to Portland.

knowing our little family will end up living in the PNW at some point.

fighting to stay awake.

thanking Paul, publicly, for being rad.

being grateful, spectacularly grateful.

The PNW is awesome. Live in Wisconsin and going to Seattle on Monday. Hubby would move in an instant, but kinda tricky with high schoolers. So we visit!

PNW! Woohoo! I grew up on an island near Seattle, went to school in Portland and have lived in Seattle for the past 3 years. It’s wonderful, if you can live without palm trees and year round sunshine! I need a taste of a different climate so I’m moving to Austin this fall but I’m pretty sure I’ll be back eventually. <3!

The PNW is the best! I was born and raised in Washington State on the east side of the Cascade Mountains and I went to college in Seattle. I am now in North Carolina but one day I will be back. Glad you enjoyed Portland and can’t wait to hear about WDS.

I love living in the Seattle area! I was in Portland visiting family over the weekend. We’re there often and love the food culture. Having been born, raised and lived in Phoenix for 27 years I LOVE living up here! It’s green and beautiful and the water is a 20 minute walk away. Love! Love!

I grew up in San Diego and moved to Seattle after college. I live in Portland now and wouldn’t change a thing! Except for in March. Don’t ask me what I thing about the Pacific Northwest in March!

Hey Elise, as a WDS attendee I want you to know how great you did! You fit in perfectly with the WDS community. I know you didn’t feel like we were your “target audience”, but that’s what’s so amazing about WDS- there is no real demographic or type of person there, just about the only thing we all have in common is that we are cool people with big dreams that we may or may not have acted on yet. And you fit that “demographic” too! If you come back next year, I hope that Chris puts you in charge of the crafts table at The Portland Experience. πŸ™‚
PS I always set tons of Fitbit records in PDX too!

Elise- I was at WDS and absolutely loved your talk! It was hilarious and inspiring at the same time. I’ve committed to pursuing more small projects and just “making stuff” and not worrying so much about “where it’s all going.” Thank you for an amazing presentation.
Oh, and I set a personal Fitbit record on Saturday, so I agree with you there too!

Eliseβ€”It was so serendipitous to hang in line together and break a world record for the Great Namaste at WDS. I loved meeting you, brainstorming, and feeling reignited to “make stuff” again for the love of it. Thank you for the inspiration on so many points in your awesome presentation.
