It's week thirty and I love this project.

Week of : July 22 – July 28.

Plwk30left

What happened this week? We were home for the first half and then took Ellerie on her first airplane ride up to Northern California to see our families and attend my best friend Katy's wedding in Carmel.

Anything special in the spread? Pretty photo heavy this week without a ton of journaling.

Techniques this week : Nothing extra really!

Plwk30detail2

Overall thoughts : I'm completely caught up and it feels good. So far, Project Life has been my only creative outlet since Ellerie was born and I am so grateful for it.

Ratio of iPhone photos to "real camera" photos : 6 to 6.

Ratio of photos taken by Elise to photos taken by Paul : Elise on the left and then aside from that black and white airplane shot, the whole right side was taken by Katy.

Supplies used : Seafoam core kit, Midnight core kit, Evalicious tabs, Kelly Purkey letter sticker, Chic Tags circle tag, Elise Joy stamps.

Tools used : Design A pocket pages, Fiskars corner rounder, Zig Millenium pen, Rotatrim paper trimmer, Office Depot date stamp, staz-on ink. All photos were printed at home on my HP Photosmart 2575 printer on Office Depot semi-gloss photo paper.

Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. I use photos, text and stuff to document our life weekly. You can see all the posts from 2012 here and 2013 here. Do you have a question about how I am tackling this project (including anything about the photos)? Check here.

^^^ Me too!! I don’t know how you do it, but you manage to hit it out of the park every week. I always think “this one is my favorite” and then you have another flawless layout the following week. I love to see your work. Thanks for sharing.
And that must have been a beautiful wedding. The location and dresses are stunning.

I need to start this project life stuff…question:do you use (like?) The same layout each time, or switch up your page protectors?

99% of the time I use the same type of page protectors. Sometimes I add inserts of other pocket pages when I have extra stuff, stories or photos.

    Hi Elise,
I’ve read through your post with FAQ about Project Life but I was wondering if you have an idea of how much you spend per year on the project with all the supplies and everything? I am getting my first batch of stuff this afternoon to start documenting my 28th year starting in a week or so πŸ™‚ Just curious if you don’t mind sharing!

This spread looks great! I love seeing you’re cute little family all back together again! My favourite photo of all is the one in the bottom right corner, of you and Paul looking down on your cute little Ellerie. So sweet! πŸ™‚

    hey Kayla,
I designed the seafoam kit and am on the PL design team so I don’t pay for the kits, pocket pages or albums. The majority of my spending is on the photos. I spend a lot of money on photo paper and printer ink (because I print at home).. probably close to $400 a year? I am not sure exactly. It would be much much cheaper to just print photos at a local store, but I appreciate the convience and ease of printing at home. you could buy a PL kit, album and design a pocket pages for $100 I want to say. Even less now if you purchase the items at michael’s and use coupons. πŸ˜‰ hope that helps a bit!
