Still very much with child. Probably for at least a few more days. But the good news is, the house has never been more clean, or more ready. I have never been more excited. And Paul is so close to walking through our front door. We are getting there. We will get there.

Thank you so much for your sweet words & well wishes these past few weeks. I so appreciate knowing folks are rooting for us. I will be sharing her name and photos on the blog as soon as it makes sense for us, but for more "real time" updates – twitter & instagram are good bets. 😉

    I love that little peek of your belly.
    I remember being pregnant with my E, 15 year old Emma. I wish I would have been as calm and collected as you are. You astound me with your strength.

    Elise,
    I’ve been reading your blog for a long time – I started back when you were planning your wedding! Now I am 8 days away from my wedding and at that point you’ll have a beautiful baby girl. You’ve always been a source of inspiration to me (my fiance and I spent a year apart – not military so completely different, but your attitude about being apart and coming back together was always inspiring to me) both creatively and with the way you live your life. I wish you all the best as you and Paul start this amazing new adventure! I can’t wait to hear the perfect name you have picked out for this little joy.
