Boldintentionsfeb

January was good. I did pretty well on my bold intentions for the month and am pretty sure I've set yoga up to be if not a "daily habit", an at least a "few times a week habit". We made great progress on the house hunt (even though there was a few days of sheer panic in the middle). And for sure Paul and I we able to celebrate his last month home for awhile (and most likely our last month ever as just two).

February is a bit different. It's a transition month. Transitioning to being alone again. Transitioning out of this current townhouse and city. Transitioning into the next year of my life (it's my birthday month!). Transitioning into a different body shape as this little one keeps growing.

I'm setting some simple bold intentions for the shortest month of the year. In February, I am looking to create brave in a few different ways and my goals are as follows :

  1. take daily beach walks to soak up the last month I'll ever live so close to an ocean.
  2. make plans for the weekends to help break up the long stretches of alone time.
  3. organize, sort & purge. In other words, get back down to the basics.

Welcome February. Let's roll.

I’ve never commented before, but I just wanted to say I really love your “Brave” word and am really impressed with how you face and master the hard and scary times in your life. You are a great inspiration 🙂
Thank you for keeping such an inspiring, uplifting and creative blog. It’s the only blog I read regularly, and your posts are always a highlight to my day!
    Stay strong, stay brave!

I was forgetting how short February will be – great idea to make the goals this month simple! Mine – start taking daily vitamins again. Especially Vitamin D!! I got a cute little cup for them and even thought about taking daily photos. 😉

Do you know where you’ll be delivering in San Diego? My mom works in post-pardom at Mary Birch Hospital & it’s amazing!

Delivered both my girls while my husband was in Iraq on separate deployments I was so scared leading up to it that I couldn’t do it without him but a great support system got me through both of them, good luck to you and your husband you will love having a little girl mine are my whole world!

I have only all the support to send you via this crazy world of cyberspace. You will look back on this transition with such an amazing perspective ( says me the grandma , once was you 🙂 kind of person. Married to a physician …. 3 kids in 4 years and we moved 9 times in the first 5 years we were married :-0. My parents lived in the same house for 46 years, so moving was not easy for me. But so much character building in all this. I could go on and on and on and on and on….
Just rooting for you out here in the world wide web. You’ll do just fine .!! I believe in you ❤

Good luck with the transitions, Elise. I imagine the body shape will be an interesting adjustment and though P’s deployment timing kind of sucks..at least he’ll be home for a long time after he’s back. 🙂
