photo info…Orange & Park print, West Elm candleholders, DIY beeswax candles.

As mentioned yesterday, this was a CRAZY week. Thank you, thank you for your sweet comments on my post about it. Life is crazy, but man it's also good. Hopefully I'll have more information (and photos) from our adventures in real estate to share with you soon.

Thank you for your stamp shop orders! Looking forward to getting those out the door and into your hands. I love watching my little stamp collection grow. I would never have guessed last April I would still be having so much fun with this venture.

My first nesting instincts have started to kick in (perhaps a bit early?). No room in our house is safe. I have a donation truck coming next Friday and ideally, I'd love to have more stuff outside waiting for them than inside filing our space. Monday, I took every item off our big bookshelf, dusted everything well and rebuilt it from the bottom up. Love having things organized by color again. It's getting me so excited to start all over with decorating our next house. See my new home inspiration board here. (I told you I was going crazy over white walls…)

This weekend : I'm going to squeeze Paul tightly and soak up every minute we have together. I am going to feel tiny baby kicks and marvel at my favorite little lady. I am going to enjoy the start of my birthday month. It's going to be an insane one and I cannot wait.

And a warm welcome to some returning friends and new faces on the right sidebar! Please take a second to check out their fun shops and blogs. Thank you for supporting the small businesses that help to support this blog.

I KNOW that crazy feeling! I have to purge, rearrange and reorganize every other month!
Your bookshelf is a huge inspiration to me! We have four clunky, overflowing bookshelves, so I am desperately looking for a book solution for our next place!
You’re absolutely my favorite blog, because your posts are such a great mixture of fun, sincerity and creativity!

Elise, do you mind me asking about the blanket? How many skeins, what type of yarn & which needles? I’ve been itching to knit a blanket & wouldn’t mind getting a little prepared before heading to the store. 🙂

Just have to tell you that I LOVE your knitting!! You have inspired me to get back into it more because of your simplistic approach. Simplicity = beauty (it doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful). And, I’m completely loving the colors in your latest knitting project!!

I am going to share much much more when it is complete. Right now I do not have final measurements or anything. but I am using 5 or 6 skeins and casted on 100 stitches to size 8 needles. Again, I will provide full details as soon as it is done. 🙂

    Elise,
I absolutely LOVE what you do with those shelves. What a fun place in your home- and eyecatching!
I was enthralled by your post about the Magic Sky. What a beautiful way to capture that moment!
I’m thinking of you as your husband gets deployed soon. Your bravery and courage, but also your willingness to be weak at times, is so inspiring to me. My husband is starting out as a Marine Officer, so we have some big moves ahead as well!

I’m not nesting, but I have spring fever and the urge to purge and organize. I really love the idea of sorting books by color.

Hi Elise, Not nesting either as others have said but definitely in a purging state of mind and action! I would love to know about your oval plate (?) on your bookshelf with the black state of California on it? I LOVE it! Thanks.
