I used two different sheets for my title page (will make sense when I share tomorrow) and will be sure to share throughout the year when I come up with other ideas. I would say the kit is much easier to use, especially if you do not do much traditional scrapbooking. 🙂

I am new to Project Life and have a few questions for you [since you’ve really got your act together where PL is concerned!] 🙂
Okay, here they are:
1) What products did you purchase when first starting out with PL? [Y’know, like: how many cards or page protectors sets] I’m not sure how many to start off with. :{
2) Can you use other albums, besides the specific PL albums? [Will the PL protector pages fit?]

I didn’t buy 12×12 paper last year, but I did this year. I will probably cut them down to 4×6 for when I need backgrounds for memorabilia, such as a ticket stub, packaging from a product or newspaper clipping, things that just don’t take up the full 4×6 space.

It’s my first year with PL too so I can’t answer your first question, but I’m using a We R Memory Keepers 12×12 album and the protectors fit fine 🙂 I think they fit any normal 12×12 album.

I kept telling myself, will I be able to document my life for a year on paper? Whether the answer is yes or no doesn’t matter because I just ordered my very first project life kit (seaform of course!) & page protectors. I have you to thank for that & I can’t wait to start!!! `=D

I AM SOOOOO STOKED!!!!
Unfortunately, this week my small son put my iPhone into the dog’s water. So now I’ll probably be buying a phone (which I didn’t want; LOVE my ‘old’ phone!) instead. (Buh bye to the 2.5mo of photos I had yet to back up – including CHRISTMAS!!)
Two days later my iPad came back from a simple “ding-ed housing” repair and they’d WIPED IT CLEAN even though they shouldn’t have even powered it up (buh bye to all of my iJournal data from a very important period in my life).
BAD APPLE WEEK for me, I guess. Wow. And a very (in)valuable learning experience in how to find creative ways to back up data that cannot be ‘synced’ or backed up in conventional ways.
Oh, well…. here we go, moving on!!
YAYYYYYYY FOR SEAFOAM, though!! My enthusiasm for it remains high!!! 😀 AND CONGRATULATIONS!!

One core kit is enough if you want to work just from a kit all year. You can also make it work with other scraps and paper from other sources. 🙂 and yep… Any brand of 12×12 three ring binder should hold the page protectors. 🙂

I ordered mine , too, along with the 12×12 paper and big pack of protectors! I’ve been using the digital version and loving the clean, modern look of the kit. I have a question as far as the digital version goes! Any chance that an extra elements pack would be created as an add-on to the digital version? Becky had them for the Clementine & Cobalt versions. I miss them and found these little extras to be very useful!

Elise, I am so excited for you! What an awesome accomplishment. I’ve got the kit and the paper in my cart but my mail is still being forwarded due to deployment for a couple weeks so I can’t order it yet. My fingers are crossed that it sells well but not too well that it is sold out by the time I make it back to the states. I really can’t wait for the rest of the items to come out. Congrats!

i wanted it from the moment i saw it. had to have it. stalked amazon for it. told everyone i knew they HAD to get it (and they all agreed). stalked amazon some more. realized i signed up for the studio calico kit on sheer adrenaline of all the NEW!, and agonized over justifying the purchase of more kits. felt like i cheated on seafoam. TOO MUCH PRETTY STUFF. spent the last 18 hours agonizing over not getting the seafoam kit, and if it would sell out should i change my mind. got up this morning, marched right to the computer, and bought the seafoam kit. what’s money next to saved memories coupled with pretty paper right? 🙂 (and ps. i can usually talk myself out of anything i want, and i just couldn’t get out of this one!)

I have Prime, too! Also, I couldn’t wait for the kit so I bought the digital version and I’ve been printing the cards out from that. So I do have week 1 completed…and I used ORANGE arrow stickers, even though I have the tan and grey ones. Silly silly silly…but I like it! :-)LOL

Simple. You need Dropbox. You can back up your stuff easily. Check it out, demos on youtube also. Apps for your phone and your iPad. I have 7 kiddos and I’d hate to lose even one month of photos! (If you instagram or facebook, you may have a few items there) and even though my things are on the icloud I run out of space on both iPhone and iPad. Elise, you’re inspiring me to get back into my yoga body….thanks for the lovely design on the core kit. Mine arrives today!

Just wanted to let you know that I got the notice that my kit had shipped today and I should have it on Monday. My friend also ordered it as well. I am so excited and love Sea Foam and have been haunting Amazon for it and can’t wait for the binder to be available. This is my first year doing Project Life. So excited to get it Monday.
