Week 49 and I still love this project.

I thought I'd get by with no blurring this week, but I tucked our holiday card into a pocket on the right and will be sharing it on the blog tomorrow so it's blurred for now. You might notice that I accidentally printed out a quote card without a space to fill in a written word. Six months ago I would have gone back and re-printed. 49 weeks into 2012 and I am more than over the small details. Getting ready for the FINAL push through 2012 and then starting FRESH in 2013. Can hardly wait and will be putting together a post about my plans for adapting this project for next year so I love it even more.

Left side is pretty standard. Photos and more photos. I left that open pocket with the felt stars from last week so you can see the stars (and the photo from the week prior behind it).

Also added two 3×4 cards from Seafoam – one with a ticket stub from Argo (so excellent!) and some text.

I added an insert this week – an 8×10 photo of us from the beach.

The backside is the journaling from this post (to give it context, at the top I wrote, "I shared the baby news on the blog 12/4 and then wrote this follow up post Wednesday.")

Left side is standard as well. Had to work in all those Seafoam shots and of course our holiday card. It's held in place with a paperclip and I'll leave the backside of that pocket empty so you can read the backside too.

And that's it! THREE MORE WEEKS.

supplies / Paper Source
circle labels, Ormolu file tab, Evalicious flair buttons, Office Depot date stamp &
arrow paper clip, Martha Stewart &
Avery labels, Design A page protectors, 8×10 page protector, soon to be released Seafoam Kit, I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

hehe, the lack of words was the first thing i noticed. lol. made me realize how over-sensitive i am about things in my album. it was a good reminder to just let things go! 🙂
oh, and it seems smudging has become the new ‘cool’ thing in your albums. 😉

    Hi Elise,
We saw Argo as well and loved it. I wanted to see and I wasn’t sure if I would like it. But man Ben A. did a good job, I wasn’t sure how he would do as a director. Congrats again on Project Life – can’t wait to get mine.

This is my first Congratulations to you on your baby. So, so happy (and jealous) for you. I know you keep getting baby comments, but I’m sure you don’t mind.
And Congrats as well on your (other) baby! I will be ordering the Seafoam kit as soon as its in stock. 🙂

I love the Christmas tree shot in the bottom corner! Your pages look great, and I love how you make them work for you instead if getting caught up in getting it “right”. I’m really looking forward to hearing how you plan to approach your Project Life album next year!

This has turned out amazing! I love the big photo of you and Paul, along with your announcement photo on the back. And the pics of you opening your seafoam kit are awesome! I so can’t wait until they’re on sale! I know I said this last week, but I’m still loving the stars peaking through!

    Hi,
Since I’m planning to start next year with project life I really would like to know your new ideas. Any idea when you will share them on the blog? Hopefully soon, so I can start with preparing!
    Thanks,

Honestly, probably not until the first week of January when I share my title page. Just trying to get through this year. 🙂
