Halloween

Happy end of October. Happy beginning of November! Happy almost Thanksgiving. Happy feels like fall!

This is our first year in a house instead of an apartment so there is a chance we'll get trick-or-treaters tonight! I am hopeful because someone needs to eat all the candy we bought and it is not going to be me. I also already failed at this holiday because my carved pumpkin collapsed so little kids in costumes will surely turn things around.

    I’m with you! I still have candy from last year because I didn’t get one kid in my apartment trick or treating. I don’t like the candy I bought, which is why it’s still here. And I’ve already thrown out my pumpkin because it got moldy. Oh well!

    yeah, I’ve found that even with bleach spray & vaseline they do not last more than a couple days.

    Awww… that was a very cool Jack o Lantern design. 😦 We live on a very busy street, so I know we will get lots of trick-or-treaters — probably starting around 4:30 this afternoon. Might miss the real rush though, as we have our own little trick-or-treater to take on the rounds.

    Happy Halloween!! I saw your pumpkin on instagram… It did look a little sad in the end, but it looked awesome when you first did it! I wish we got to have trick-or-treaters here in Aust, but it’s really not that big a thing here at all. I can’t wait to see the Christmas book! I’m now counting down until Monday! 🙂
