The color scheme of my neighborhood is pretty set. Green + brown + blue + yellow. Except on Sunday mornings, when the farmer's market sets up across the street. Then the color! The natural color. Cannot get enough.

As always, please feel free to do your own photo walk. Use "color" as a prompt or anything else you can dream up. Keep the focus on just one thing though for a challenge.

All photos this time around were taken with my new iPhone 4s. I'm obsessed and cannot believe I waited an extra eight months after my plan was up to upgrade. See all photo walk posts here.

The Farmer’s Market sets up across the street?! My, you’re one lucky lady! Our town has a Farmer’s Market, but it’s so incredibly small so I usually end up driving a town over for their slightly bigger (but still pretty small) Market! I love all the natural color! Wonderfully pretty!

can you walk to your farmers market? if so, i’m way jealous. i think scott & i need to get bikes so we can bike to ours! for the iphone – is it a big difference? my first (and only thus far) iphone is the 4S and i didn’t know it was a big improvement over previous designs. i just WISH that front facing camera wasn’t blurry / lo-res. self portraits are impossible!

Pretty! I want to take my camera to the farmer’s market every weekend, everything always looks so nice!
Just got back from vacation and I did something similar, except I focused only on one color. I was going to go with 2 colors, but I don’t think I would have put my camera down: http://almostneverclever.wordpress.com/2012/06/14/china-in-red/

We can, pretty sweet! And oh man, YES. The quality is crazy compared to the 3GS that I had and I know it is supposed to be a decent improvement over the iPhone 4. 🙂

I just found your blog recently and I just wanted to say how much I love it and how inspiring it is. It made me decide to do the projectlife. I also like your monthly resolutions, what a great idea and so simple. I read the blog on your wedding album and it really got me thinking that I need to work on mine! I have been married a little over a year and I haven’t done much except frame my favorites but I def need a great album. I like that you made your own. I don’t know if I am crafty enough to do that but I just loved how simple and lovely it was. anyway I just wanted to say thank you and I will def be checking your blog out frequently. So hello!

Awesome Elise. I’m still trying to find our local farmer’s market having moved here six months ago! Love the iPhone 4S camera – I use it to take all my blog photos. Absolutely worth the upgrade. You kinda wonder what the next iPhone camera might bring?

My iphone is a few years old……. what is the difference in the camera? also do you think you will use any attachments on your iphone (I think Cathy Z recently had a post and Bekky Higgins as well about little attachments to make your iphone photos even better. Regards Kathy A, Brisbane

hey Elise, beautiful pictures. What a great idea to go to the farmers market to do this photo walk. Wish we had a big one around here. Always loved Saturday mornings as a kid, when I got up early to go to our market with my mom and see all the colors of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
I had a similar idea last week to take a photo walk by color, but I focused on flowers in my neighborhood:

I’m considering buying an iphone4, but don’t know how much memory capacity I need – are 16 gb enough, when I want to take many photos? And how do you get your photos onto your computer?
Thanks for your inspirational work. It’s always fun to read your blog. 🙂 Sabine

it is sharper and clearer. can focus much better and creates a strong depth of field. I read this article when I was trying to decide to upgrade to 4 or 4s http://digitalphotobuzz.com/iphone-4s-camera-vs-iphone-4-camera I will probably not be getting any attachments. 🙂

I have the 16g and had it before. For me, it is enough storage. You can use iCloud to automatically transfer your photos or you can use the USB that comes with your phone to connect directly to your computer and upload.

How fun is the farmer’s market! I go there every so often because the produce is so much cheaper and better quality than the supermarkets here. I love how colourful it all is too… Looks like you guys have lots of options for local foods there, based on your photos! I can’t believe how good your phone camera is either… I have the standard iPhone 4, but I don’t get phots that are that good!
