Week 20 and I am still in love with this project.

More and more photos. A ton this week were taken with my phone. And lots of writing – four decent chunks of text in the main pockets, plus a text-heavy insert this week.

Plwk20insert2

My insert this week is a trimmed down We R Memory keepers page protector with the "what we've learned" text from this blog post.

Plwk20insert

The photo at the top is actually from April, but it worked here. I added a you're my favorite stamp to an Ormolu file tab tag.

Plwk20insertback

The backside of the insert holds three instagram photos from Friday night – no real reason for 'em, other than I liked the three of them together and they were already squares.

Plwk20left

Photo heavy left page. I included some text about the 40 pizzas project and a trimmed down summer book cover. To create the date card, I wrapped a white piece of cardstock in washi tape from Freckled Fawn. In addition to the normal date sticker I added a you are here stamped sticker.

Those basil photos are really some of my favorites.

Pretty simple right page too. I wrote some personal journaling (it's blurred because it's too personal to share on the blog, not to personal for a friend or family member who actually looks through the album) on that diagonal patterned paper c/o Scrapbook Circle. And I added more journaling right onto that hillside photo and text about our date night next to that instagram photo.

Plwk20detail

Cut a circle journaling spot from Elle's Studio (have you seen their cute new site?!) and added it to a photo of our sweet lemon tree.

And that's it! Can we talk about how much I love photos?

supplies / Paper Source circle, Crate Paper patterned paper (c/o Scrapbook Circle), Ormolu "Friday" button, file tab and "favorite tag", Freckled Fawn washi tape, Banana Fish Studio heart flap, Elle's Studio circle journaling spot, stamp shop stamps, Design A page protectors (which are available in this variety pack),  We R Memory Keepers photo protector, Clementine core kit, Bebas quote font. I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

Love this week’s! My Project Life is always so full of photos too…I love it! I always forget about trimming page protectors to make them smaller inserts…you have reminded me that I need to do that soon!

I’ve loved keeping up with your PL! I am also doing it (you can see it on my blog) and I see a lot of similarities in how we’re approaching the ‘creative side’ of it (lots of photos, labels, writing on photos, etc). It’s absolutely awesome and I’m so ecstatic that I’ve kept up with it for this many weeks (I’m sure you are too!) I love that there’s a place to put all our STUFF. I love adding inserts. I love that it’s a place I can write down some personal stuff that I want to remember and ‘hide’ it. I love that it’s acting like my kids’ baby books. I love capturing the big, and more importantly, the little things. I LOVE IT. Thank you for the inspiration!

Very colorful and summery this week! I love that you included a cropped summer album cover. I also love the stamped tab and the “you are here” next to the dates. Sigh, you’re making me wish I’d bought more than one stamp!

Love all the photos you’ve used this week! I still enjoy reading the quotes you choose each week as well! I think it’s great when you write a really awesome blog post like the one you’ve included, that you can simply copy and past it into the divided page protectors as well!

i forgot to mention, i went into my local Craft Warehouse store and found an Ampersand Mask by Studio Calico ($3.99). They are called Huey’s Masks. I know you have a love for ampersands so I thought I would share this with you. I used a plain sheet of white cardstock… put the mask on top and sprayed with the Studio Calico Color Mist ($5.99) and it turned out so cool.
Question… that white and yellow stripped paper you did your journaling on… is that paper or something you made yourself? love how you put your writing inside. way to go!

I love the fact that you use the negative picture space to journal. Such a great idea.
