I'm tired of deployment. But I'll never be tired of the town where we're stationed. Not sure if "even trade" is the correct expression, but the year we'll actually spend here together is going to be rad.
p.s. I am loving those leopard flats c/o Blowfish shoes. Super cute and comfortable for walking around. Double win.

I love the beach …all that water, sand, and sun. I live at the lake so I totally understand how awesome it is and never take it for granted. Contine to stay busy as you are …it does help. You’ve made it through the worst of it.

Hey Elise, why is it such a big secret when Paul gets back? So what is the danger in telling a date or month? I am just curios as I am not from the US and can’t think of a good reason. :$

I am not sure. I just know that homecomings have been delayed by weeks thanks to people sharing dates on social media sites. I am not going to be the person that screws it up. Much better to be safe than sorry.

I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and really have taken the beach for granted. Also, blowfish makes leopard flats? why didn’t I know about this?

I feel exactly the same way about where we’re stationed right now. J is going to be at sea the majority of the time we’re here, so it’s hard to have him away so much, but where we live is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been, and I love it here so much. Your pictures are gorgeous!
