So true!! This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes – “A ship is safe at harbor but that’s not what ships are built for.” Thanks for the reminder to get out of my comfort zone this weekend!

Love it!!! It’s where the real growth happens. At 43 and with two small children, I’ve taken up rowing and swimming – the swimming because of the rowing. Absolutely petrified when I arrived at my first swim lesson, I had to be walked in and handed over to my instructor. Three lessons in and I’m swimming freestyle, something I never thought I’d be able to do, and the feeling of personal achievement is pretty wonderful.

Hey Elise! I have a question for you. I’m wondering where in your house you keep your mini-books and how you store them. I’ve only made 2, but I’m always wondering where the best place to keep them is! I want them to stay nice, but I’d like the be displayed somewhere too!

Elise, I love these pretty quotes you’ve been doing lately- both the digital versions and the painted! I hung the “I’ve decided to be happy because it is good for my health” quote on my monitor at work 🙂 and am printing this one out as I type.

I just keep them in a basket in my office. Nothing too exciting yet. 🙂
