40loaves

Bread no. 24 : nutella pumpkin bread

Adjustments : I halved the recipe & cooked in a 9×5 bread pan. I also reduced the sugar by about a third, substitued about half the white flour for whole wheat and added a bit more pumpkin.

Notes : super easy. I ended up baking mine for about an hour total.

Review : a perfect fall dessert bread.

Mmmm, pumpkin bread. I have a wicked good, tried and true recipe for pumpkin bread (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/downeast-maine-pumpkin-bread/detail.aspx), but I may have to try out the nutella twist!

Oh ya…gonna try this for sure…I have always made Becky Higgins Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins and love them in the fall. I love Nutella and this sounds great. Think I might try it tomorrow. By the way…do you substitute anything when you do not use all of the sugar that is called for in a recipe or do you just leave it out? Thanks so much for the recipe…looking forward to giving it a try.
