40loaves

Bread no. 17: naan

Adjustments : I used about a cup of whole wheat flour and two cups white flour.

Notes : I got about 13 dough balls out of the recipe and ended up brushing these with butter on the "uncooked" side while they were on the skillet and then sprinkling with garlic salt.

Review : SUPER good. I wish Paul was home to help me eat them all. The garlic salt was a nice (and simple) touch.

Looks delicious! I don’t think I’ve ever had naan or Indian food – but I love pita bread, and it seems similar!

Oh. Now I want chicken dupiaza, sopped up with fresh naan. Yum.
I’ve never made them myself before, but the recipe looks so straightforward and delicious I think I’ll have to give it a go.

Ooh, that looks so good. I’ve eaten naan only a few times but I’d love to try to make it. Thanks for sharing!

So funny, I made naan this month, too, though we cooked it on the grill using a recipe from Food & Wine.

I want to thank you for introducing me to the Bar Method! I had never found a work out I liked but i’m pretty confident about this one. Just bought an unlimited month 🙂
They just opened a studio in DC, right in Chinatown, which is perfect for me because I can walk there! So thanks so much!!
